The Alamo
Our first on-site HistoPad project in the United States, Surrounded! The Alamo Augmented Experience, is a successful partnership with Texas's most visited cultural site.
Since September 2024, visitors to the Alamo, an iconic landmark of American history and site of remembrance, can access the history of the Long Barrack through the use of HistoPads. Visitors embark on a journey through various key periods in the site's history: the Spanish colonization in 1718 with the establishment of Mission San Antonio de Valero, the Battle of the Alamo, the mercantile era when the site hosted one of Texas's largest general stores, and the preservation efforts of the early 20th century.
Accessible to all, Surrounded! The Alamo Augmented Experience is available in multiple languages and includes several accessibility features for visitors.
