This innovative exhibition, visited with an HistoPad in hand, combines physical scenography and augmented reality to bring to life the battle of the American paratroopers from the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions who liberated Sainte-Mère-Église on June 6, 1944. The exhibition was produced using the interactive content developed for the Airborne Museum’s HistoPad in 2018: it illustrates HistoPad's ability to extend the reach of the French museum beyond its walls and borders as part of a traveling digital exhibition.
The exhibition D-Day:Freedom from above, the Augmented Exhibition features a meticulously designed and high-quality scenography, both elegant and welcoming, aimed at providing an accessible and immersive experience for all visitors. Carefully crafted and made of custom elements, this scenography perfectly adapts to the specificities of each museum space.
