Located in a magnificent 17th-century building in the heart of the medieval village, the MHAB Museum of History and Art of Bormes is the first museum in France to offer a permanent exhibition designed around the augmented reality of the HistoPad.
As a guardian of an art collection dating from the late 19th century to the present day, and a local historical archive, the MHAB offers an immersive journey into the 2,400 years of the city's history.
This journey features no less than 15 stations, allowing visitors to discover the past of Bormes les Mimosas from the 1st century BC to the presidential vacations at Fort de Brégançon.
In addition to the permanent digital scenography that visitors discover on the HistoPad, the physical scenography of the museum was designed, produced and installed by Histovery. The two scenographies complement and intertwine in order to offer a rich experience to visitors who stay on average 1 hour 20 minutes in the museum.
